Don Dolindo's tomb has always been a pilgrimage site for many faithful, especially from Poland, who approach it, knock three times on the marble, and pray.Continuing towards Pompeii, you can visit the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Italy. Founded in 1876 by Blessed Bartolo Longo, a layman devoted to Our Lady of the Rosary, the sanctuary is renowned for its magnificent architecture and the icon of the Virgin of the Rosary, venerated for numerous miracles attributed to her intercession.
